Worship Services
"But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers.  God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth." (John 4:23-24)

The Franklin Church of Christ conducts Worship services

Sunday mornings at 10:00 a.m.
and
Sunday evenings at 5:00 p.m.

The order of worship in the 10:00 a.m. assembly is as follows:

• Welcome and announcements by an Elder
   

• Singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs (Ephesians 5:19, Colossians 3:16)
   

• Prayer (Acts 2:42, Acts 4:24, I John 1:9, Ephesians 6:19, Philippians 4:6)
   

• Singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs
   

• Introduction to the Lord's Supper
   

• Partaking of the Lord's Supper (Matthew 26:26-29, Acts 20:7, I Corinthians 11:23-26)
  Done in remembrance of Jesus Christ and to proclaim His death and resurrection until He comes again
   

• Collection to support the work of this congregation (I Corinthians 16:1-2, II Corinthians 9:6-11)
  (Members only - we do not seek a contribution from visitors)
   

• Preaching by the Evangelist (II Timothy 3:16 - 4:4)
   

• Invitation to obey the gospel of Christ (Romans 6:4)
  We invite everyone who has recognized their need to have Jesus Christ in their life, but haven't confessed Him as their Lord and Savior, to be baptized into Christ.  To join Jesus in His death, burial, and resurrection, and to walk in newness of life 
   

• Singing a hymn of encouragement
   

• Closing remarks and prayer
