Built by the Lord

What an exciting day for the Franklin Church of Christ as we begin our second annual Fall Focus. If you are our guest, we welcome you. This year’s focus is inspired by Psalm 127:1-2, “Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; unless the Lord guards the city, the watchman keeps awake in vain. It is vain for you to rise up early, to retire late, to eat the bread of painful labors; for He gives to His beloved even in his sleep.”

This year we have 5 weeks and 12 sermons devoted to our families. Additionally, we have invited some great guest speakers to provide us with God’s word regarding our homes.

We have available for each family a copy of Built by the Lord, a new book by Edwin Crozier. Please, take a copy and read it with your family each day throughout this focus, working through the Responses and Points to Ponder.

Also, we have special small group studies established to help further the impact of our work during this focus. These groups are open to our guests. If you would like to be a part of one of these studies, please ask any of our members to direct you to Edwin or one of the elders who can help you sign up.

We are excited about this time. To our guests, thank you for joining us. To our members, remember to let your friends, co-workers and family know about this great opportunity. There are still five more Sundays for them to participate.

Let’s all pray for God’s hand to be with us throughout this Focus.
